Miracles of Montessori
Who we are
We are a fast growing Montessori School situated at Queen's Close and Mei Ling St. at Queenstown. Our "prepared environment" is warm and cosy with ample space to move around. Our School environment is designed and arranged specifically for the needs of children, such that they feel like the space is theirs. The environment says: "You are important."
When it comes to our “little gems", we do not compromise on any aspect. Our Montessori education materials are hence imported from Italy and Holland, ensuring the best quality for learning. Our furniture and accessories are specially imported from the USA, ensuring that it's safe and child-friendly.
What we do
At Milagros de Montessori, we strive to provide a learning environment that maximises the child's potential and encourages him/her to be independent. With the help of our highly qualified Montessori-trained teachers, we hope to value-add to our community through the Montessori method and philosophy.
"Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words, but by experiences in the environment."
- Dr. Maria Montessori
What we believe
We believe that every child is unique and his individuality should always be respected. We embrace the Montessori Method in every possible way, thus unleashing the true potential of every child.
The Montessori Method aims to help children grow into responsible, self-motivated learners who are competent in all areas of life. This method calls for guided activity within a "prepared environment"- an educational environment tailored to the specific characteristics of children at different ages.
"Any child who is self-sufficient, who can tie his shoes, dress or undress himself, reflects in his joy and sense of achievement the image of human dignity, which is derived from a sense of independence."
- Dr. Maria Montessori
